i will use the style of this double page spread for my magazine with the main picture at one side and the text in one of the bottom corner.

In this magazine front cover there is no barcode or price, which is very unusual

The masthead is positioned in the middle of the page the font is white, which goes well with the dark background.

the main sell line stands out in a dark coloured font even with the dark background 

i have decided to call my magazine the pulse and i have designed the logo

i like the stance of the band members from muse i will use this stance in my magazine

The text is in different fonts and in different sizes the underline how important the information is. There  is a substantial amount of text with in depth information about the specific subject.
Images?? How many? What size? What are they of? Are the images anchored? (i.e. by a caption?) Is there writing over any of the images? Positioning of images?	most of the contents page is composed of images. The images are a suitable size they show the bands that the article is about.
Colour?? How many colours are used for text? Colours of images? Effect of colours?	The background colour is white the text is either in black or yellow

i like the dark background and the yellow text on this magazine, i also like how the main image looks it gives me an idea of how i want my main image to look.

In media studies for my coursework i have been tasked with createing a frount cover,contents page and double page spread of a music magazine. all of the images i use have to be original and it needs to look professionaly made.before i do my main task i must complete a preliminary task, this is to familiarise my self with createing a magazine and give me a feel of doing the real thing.
