A bullet for my valentine song that inspired the look of my model on my font cover of my music magazine

having looked at some of the work from people last year i have learnt that it will not be easy to get a high grade because some of the magazines i thought looked ok got quite low marks for looking unprofessional. i have gained some ideas from other peoples work such as too keep colour consistency with the fonts and also to how to use blank space effectively such as puting an advertisement or a prize there to cover up the space i also learned that the use of dark colours in a dark background makes it difficult to read the text.
I have chosen EMAP to be the producers of my music magazine, i thought this was the best choice because my magazine is a rock magazine and EMAP have experience publishing rock magazines because they currently publish Kerrang Q! and Mojo and have been in the business since the 40's.

The recce

Are there any potential hazards that could pose a health and safety risk where your photo shoot will take place (trailing cables/traffic/other objects )?
There are cables and wires from guitars and amps where I will be takeing the photos and musical equipment on the floor.
What will you do to ensure these risks are minimised?
I will make sure I have a clear pathway through all of the equipment and wires scattered about.
Will the time of day/weather affect the outcome of the photos? Have you allowed for this?
The time of day or weather does not matter I will be taking my photos inside.
Have you considered the background to your photos, particularly if taken outside? How will you ensure you will get the background you want?
Have you considered lighting? What about the ‘problems’ of natural lighting, either outside, or streaming through a window? Will you need to use a flash? Have you considered reflective objects that might spoil the effect?
All of the windows will be covered so no natural lighting gets through all of my photos will be taken in a well lit room.
Do you need permission to take photos in the place/venue you have in mind?
I do not need to permission to take my photos I am takeing them at a friend’s music gig and also in the bunker music rooms.
Do you need to book time in a room (eg the photography studio at Shiney)?
No I did not however I had to wait until my friend’s bands gig.
Are other people/crowds likely to be an issue for you? What have you done to ensure that it will not spoil the effect?
There are a few members of the crowd in my pictures theyhave been photo shopped out.
Are you reliant on lifts/props/friends’ equipment/models? How have you planned that these things will come together at the appointed time? Plan B?
I have waited for my friends gig and also one of my friends has a music room in there house with a lot of musical instruments and I also went to the bunker music rooms.
Finally, have you thought of every eventuality…?
I think I have thought of every eventuality all of the things I needed to do to prepare for my coursework have been done.
